This is J.K.Rowlings' house in Edinburgh. She lives just about two blocks from the mission home. Some Sister missionaries spotted her one day and were trying to catch her to speak to her and she took off running from them and into her house. Tired of fans, I suspect.

Our first trip out to Dunnet Head, the most northern point of the continent. It was an important spot during the war were the British watched for German ships and subs. It is about 20 minutes from where we live.

It is not a great shot, but the silver spots on the rocks are seals, sunning themselves in a bay off Dunnet Head. There were about a dozen on the rocks and more in the water.

Edward and Wendy Ashton took us to Dunnet Head after a delicious lunch which included sausage rolls and pork pies and English trifle for dessert.
